We couldn’t create Satiety Paper’s summer issue without including at least one classic portraiture of Americana; so here you have it! ‘Heartland’, which comes to us by way of photographer Michael Segal, combines the sweetness and intensity of fleeting summer romance, with vast, familiar horizons and the enduring beauty of this land we love. Following the light hearted and tender tryst of models Andreea Damaris And Tyler House, the series harkens back to the youthful simplicity of unburdened afternoons, entwined in your lover’s arms beneath the shade trees. Some love only last a summer, but the memories can stay with us forever; annually renewed by the breezy aroma of ripening fruit, the endearing magic of a glinting sprinkler, and the echos of laughter dashing around under a merciless sun…hair blowing and grass beating against intrepid feet. Satiety Paper invites you to join us as we stop and savor the scenery. Enjoy! CreditsPhotographer: Michael SegalModels: Andreea Damaris and Tyler House(L.A. Models)
Hott, hott hott! That’s the best adjective to describe this collaboration by fresh Photographer Louise Smit and flaxen haired stunner Michaela Wain. Appropriately dubbed ‘Sunset Strip’, this story sizzles under the summer sun with gilded accessories and bright, cheeky ensembles, combined by Stylist Molly King to flatter the smoldering sensuality of our inimitable model. The series takes the reader from high noon, to brilliant sunset with flirty peeks at dewy, bronzen skin and glistening silhouettes of Michaela’s feminine figure. Not only does this editorial feature the hottest designs for 2014 summer swim, but it aims to entice the reader to consider taking some sexy risks of our own this season! You certainly don’t have to be a model to hit the beach with flirtatious confidence in these strategically skimpy combos. Every size and shape is equally flattered by a bit of mischievous embellishment. Throw on a contemporary cut in your favorite color, and let the smile do the rest; WE dare you! Enjoy! Visionary fashion designer Yiqing Yin teamed up with creative genius Julien Vallon and modeling industry pro Mathilde Frachon to create this revolutionary new piece for Satiety Paper’s debut issue. Entitled here, ‘Crimson and Clover’, the images are running exclusively in Satiety paper before launching as part of the designer’s new campaign and collection 2014. Like other innovative designer/ateliers: fountains of creativity rippling the fashion industry these days (MMM, JPG, Erik Halley and Heather Huey just to name a few) the incredible Yiqing Yin best articulates the the goal of her designs at conception in this description ‘The modernization of smocking and the elimination of any order of construction’. Complementing, unstructured coiffes by Yuji Okuda and fresh beauty palettes by Makeup Artist Ismael Garcia Blanco create the perfect tone of whimsy to enhance the ethereal nature of the designs. It’s no wonder that Yiqing Yin has been honored with the Grand Prize of Creation of the City of Paris and has been named by by French Vogue as one of the 8 young designers to watch. Satiety Paper is eternally honored to present this gorgeous editorial as part of our collection. Enjoy!
Satiety Paper welcomes this new collectors piece by photographic genius David Cohen De Lara; to enhance our already stellar set of incredible editorials in The Summer Session. Tess de Vries,Nika Daalderop and Kim Jaspers star stud this studio pictorial, in structured androgynous ensembles, which perfectly offset the delicate and feminine beauty of David’s latest muses. In high contrast black and white, the timeless composition of the images stands staunchly off the pages and reminds the reader of the power of raw magnetism. We can never say enough about David’s work…which is always unique, always timeless and always spot on. As for personal taste, this is one of our favorite (and finest) stories. Enjoy!
Basics never looked so good, as in this vibrant new editorial from (frequent previous contributor to the Libertine) Craig Stuart Eisenberg. With strategic tugs on a simple sweater in just the right places, classically striking Flora Watling creates an initially subtle, alluring proposition. One can’t help but be drawn in by her assuming presence and sensual magnetism. Craig goes on to capture Flora in a modern black one-piece with strong, figure framing architecture and easy carriage. The transition to bare skin feels as effortlessly natural as breathing from there. Flora dazzles the lens with her ease at blending vulnerability and confidence. The photographic plays on light and dark, render contrasting energies, suggestive of the ‘sinner/saint’ balance that is coveted in fashion, and so elusive to the average user. Satiety Papers first issue is proud to take a page from Craig and Flora’s book, on dazzling basics.
